Needle and Cake

Needle and Cake A sewing day at venue 28 It’s never too late to learn a new skill or to refresh an old one.

Taking time out to refresh an old skill or learn a new one is satisfying on a number of different levels. Here are a few that spring to mind

  1. It gives you a sense of achievement
  2. You get the opportunity to focus on one thing (you know how hard that normally is!)
  3. You find yourself spending time with people you probably would never have met before.
  4. You open the door to a brand new adventure and your mind starts racing about the possibilities. (I’m still dreaming of my vast summer linen wardrobe.)
